To coincide with the New Old exhibition, IDEO, Future Facility and Special Projects discussed the state of interaction design today. This event was in partnership with the Interaction Design Association.
Visitors joined IDEO, Future Facility and Special Projects for an evening of thought provoking talks and discussion about the role of interaction design in a rapidly ageing world. The talk was hosted in partnership with the Interaction Design Association.
Speakers
Kim Colin, RDI, has made a significant impact on industrial design though she originally trained as an architect. She is today at the forefront of industrial design as co-Founder and Partner in London studios Industrial Facility and its newest branch Future Facility.
Adrian Westaway, Special Projects, is an inventor, engineer and experience designer on a mission to make the human-technology interaction meaningful and delightful. He is a tutor and lecturer in Design & Innovation at Queen Mary University and Goldsmiths, University of London, and a visiting faculty member at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.
Daniel Tauber is a multidisciplinary Designer who envisions, invents and designs novel interactions and experiences. His work explores the aesthetic, functional, social and cultural aspects of future products and services. At IDEO, he helps organisations translate emerging technologies into meaningful experiences that enrich and augment human capabilities.
