The programme brings together budding young designers with industry experts in creative design environments. The hands-on half term courses and summer online projects aim to develop, as well as challenge, design thinking and to celebrate the world around us.

Young people are invited to share inspiring photographs drawn from their local area through our online Flickr gallery. A selection of participant responses will be included in a unique, hand-illustrated poster which will be available to download through the Design Museum website in November.
The project brief will be available on this page from Monday 29 July 2013.

Summer 2012
Over the summer, 20 young people submitted photographs to Flickr of places and spaces they found intriguing or thought provoking. Taking inspiration from the online gallery, illustrator Owen Rimmington has designed a poster, as a free download, representing these vibrant environments.
