Freyja Sewell
Freyja's residency investigates the potential of wool fibres produced as a by-product of the British carpet industry and has produced a series of experimental furniture.
Oscar Medley-Whitfield and Harry Trimble
Taking inspiration from Southwark’s historic and once thriving ceramics industry, Harry and Oscar have produced a range of ceramics made of clay dug from the banks of the Thames river.
Lawrence Lek
Using digital design techniques such as computer controlled (CNC) routing and laser cutting, Lawrence has created bent-plywood modules which combine to form objects and environments including a pavilion and a chair.
Yuri Suzuki
Yuri investigates the workings of consumer electronics. He has made a collection of working objects that attempt to demystify electronics and give the user a better understanding of how things work.
Watch behind the scenes films.
The Designers in Residence exhibition was designed by Asif Khan.
