Join this three-part course designed to boost drawing confidence in participants of all levels by exploring techniques for creatively visualising ideas.

Explore drawing techniques for visualising and communicating ideas. Over three weeks you will learn how to draw isometric projections, elevations, diagrams and maps to capture and codify elements of human behaviour.
Session One:
Compelling techniques for thinking up and illustrating 2D and 3D diagrams.
Session Two:
An overview of compelling techniques for thinking up and illustrating ideas using 2D and 3D diagrams.
Session Three:
Generate and depict ideas based on observing human behaviour and the physical environment.
Participants will also have free access to The Drawing Gym’s online Foundation course resources, including exercises and worksheets for the duration of this course.

Facilitators
Trevor Flynn is Director of Drawing at Work and founder of the Drawing Gym. He is a visiting lecturer at the Design Museum, UCL, The Architectural Association, Bath University and the Institution of Structural Engineers in London. He has illustrated a best-selling cookbook and a book by Richard Curtis about the making of the film Notting Hill.
Peter Ayres’ work with the Design Museum includes running creativity sessions for students and educators on the Design Ventura programme, as well as drawing workshops for young people. His innovative ideas for development and delivery of special projects as visible through his work as Co-Director as Beep Studio.
