What to expect
Coming together to share food, gifts, and company is an important part of any celebration. This holiday season, create your very own decorations and make your celebrations look extra special as the Design Museum builds a communal table of handmade marbled creations. Whether you’re in need of party plates, wrapping paper, or lanterns to light up the night, we’ll design and make something to use, to gift or to share together at your seasonal celebrations. Practice paper crafting, testing and learning new marbling techniques, before applying the patterns to your festive products.

Sophie Greenstreet is a maker and educator, working with a range of museums and galleries. With a background in visual communication, Sophie delivers workshops which unpick processes, provoke play, pose questions and encourage creative collaboration between participants, practitioner and differing design disciplines.
