Get into Design Family Workshop SOLD OUT

Casting from Nature

In this three-hour workshop join designer Haidée Drew to cast your own unique one-off object.

This event has now sold out.

What to expect

Each family member will learn to make clay and recycled material moulds to then cast with jesmonite.

In the making of a home we collect and surround ourselves with objects. In this workshop we will explore the ‘Great Indoors’ experimenting with playful organic forms inspired by the natural world.

Explore how designers are influenced by nature, if function can follow form, and question if an object needs to function to be useful.

Facilitator
