Each month, and during school holidays, the Design Museum holds a drop-in activity for families inspired by the museum and its exhibitions. These informal sessions focus on light-touch design and making activities for families with children aged 5–11. Come along and become a designer!

FREE, drop-in. Activities suitable for families with children aged 5–11 years, all age groups and families welcome.

A chance for families to take part in light-touch making activities inspired by paper craft modelling throughout the year.

Easter Half Term: Badge-Making

Join the Design Museum this Easter weekend to make your own badges in this free, drop-in activity. Flex your inner illustration skills to draw, colour and press your own unique badge.

Easter Half Term: Life on another planet

This activity invites you to think about what life might look like on another planet. Create and Make imaginative future buildings to populate a new world.

May Half Term: Paper Den’s

Take part in a fun afternoon of den building. Colour, collage and construct your own 3D paper shapes to build the den brick by brick.
