Now in its ninth year, Beazley Designs of the Year celebrates design that promotes or delivers change, enables access, extends design practice or captures the spirit of the year. Someday the other museums will be showing this stuff.
Free Display: For the first time in the museum’s history it will have a free permanent display of its collection: Designer Maker User tells the story of contemporary design through these three interconnected roles.
Fear and Love: Reactions to a Complex World is the museum's ambitious opening exhibition consisting of a series of major new commissions by some of the most innovative practitioners in design and architecture.
