A multisensory architecture tour of the Design Museum for blind and partially sighted visitors.

What to expect

This free multisensory tour offers blind and partially sighted visitors an introduction to the key architectural features of the Design Museum, as well as a chance to explore the history of this landmark modernist structure.

The session will take place both inside and around the exterior of the building. Following the tour there will be a group discussion as well as the opportunity to handle material samples.

The tour will last 1 hour and 30 minutes and is for blind and partially sighted visitors.

Andrew Mashigo

Andrew Mashigo is an artist, design enthusiast and freelance museum educator. He works collaboratively with blind and visually impaired creative practitioners, creating collaborative workshops, exhibitions and tours.
