Priority Access with Membership

As an independent charity severly impacted by the lockdown, the Design Museum has never needed its members more.

Become a member today and enjoy a year of priority free entry for you and a guest, plus up to three children aged 15 and under, plus exclusive discounts in the shop.

  • Please note membership can only be purchased online.

  • Save 10% when you buy 6 or more memberships for your company or design studio. Discount is applied automatically at checkout.

  • After purchase, new members will receive a link to pre-book their free priority time slot for the exhibition. You must book your free tickets in advance before you visit the museum.

  • As a member, you can book two free tickets online, for yourself and your plus one. If you wish to additionally book up to three children's tickets for free, please contact to arrange this.

  • If members' slots are also sold out and you can't get access on your preferred dates, please email no later than 48 hours after your purchase and your membership will be refunded.

Members enjoy free, unlimited entry to temporary exhibitions

Voluntary donation: On the next page you will be asked for a voluntary donation of at least 10% on the price of your ticket. As an independent charity, every donation is vital in enabling the museum to stay open for you and achieve its charitable aims.

*Concession tickets include seniors (over 60 years), NHS workers, disabled visitors and companion and job seekers.

Ticket Mate Fund is a new pay it forward scheme that offers you the chance to donate a ticket to young people and adults in the local community for whom price might be a barrier to participation - including those most affected by the Coronavirus crisis.
