The Italian Car (from Sketch to Production)
The Ferrari exhibition will be free to visit during this event and the talk will be followed by a drinks and canapés reception.
The Italian car design has always been embedded in the northwest district, a unique example of a territorial concentration of the wide know-how relating to the car universe. This district has been able to precociously invest in planning the system activities – in the engineering of a vehicle from the drawing paper up to the whole manufacture – becoming a global reference point.
Italian companies active in styling and design, engineering and production of vehicles, and conversions have enhanced the heritage of these traditions, reshaping the Italian creativity value. This is why they are now able to face the changes of automobile design trends, finding a new approach both to car design and engineering.
The future is breaking boundaries among different sectors, opening a new frontier of interpreting cars, but also leaving space for niches: cars as exclusive and tailor-made objects, that Italian car designers and engineers has always been doing best.
Please note that registration starts at 18.00.
