Crafting Objects

Create your own beautiful, wearable and useful objects inspired by this year’s Beazley Designs of the Year exhibition.

What to expect

This three-hour workshop takes inspiration from the diversity of ideas, stories and issues designers are responding to today from future visions of the city to super normal design, global issues that affect our environment and local community crafts.

Learn about model-making and computer aided manufacture. Get stuck in by selecting different 2D shapes supplied by design studio Lab-083, connecting them together to assemble your own 3D modular, customisable wooden objects. Make them your own by adding patterns, shapes and typography inspired by the exhibition in this playful workshop.
