New Design Museum Venue Hire

In 2016 the doors will be opened to the museum’s new home located in a prime position on Kensington High Street in thriving West London. With beautiful views over Holland Park, the stunningly refurbished building retains its incredible hyperbolic paraboloid roof and will feature exhibitions on all things design.

The new space

For years the Design Museum has been an established London landmark in its former home on the banks of the river Thames. The new museum will cement its position as the world’s foremost museum of design with incredible, brand new spaces and inspiring collections.

The £80m redevelopment of the building includes over 1000m2 of event space featuring;

  • an auditorium for 190 people
  • a versatile, dedicated event space for 220 people
  • meeting rooms for more intimate business meetings, and a dramatic, triple height atrium space that can be transformed into a stunning evening reception space for 300 people

The venue spaces come equipped with state-of-the-art production services, and clients will be offered a range of catering services to complement their event activity.
