The brief has been specifically crafted for level 3 students to add to their study programme and give them professional insight and context. The museum wants the competition to inspire creative thinking, develop professional skills and bring the design process to life.

The Design Museum Student Awards gives students the chance to have their work recognised by leading industry professionals and the sector skills committee. Shortlisted students will be invited to attended a bespoke created workshop with professional designers.
