Regarded by English Heritage as the second most important modern building in London, the former Commonwealth Institute opened in 1962. As part of Open House weekend the former Commonwealth Institute will open its doors. Don't miss the last chance to see the building in its original form before work begins to prepare the site for the New Design Museum scheduled to open in 2014.
Tours are free, but places are limited. Max 30 per tour.
Please that due to the condition of the building there is no disabled access or toilet facilities.
