The Design Museum’s higher education programme’s overall aim is to nurture the next generation of creative thinker and design professionals.

Industry Insights talks

Industry Insights is a university student talks series encouraging knowledge sharing and networking between design professionals and student designers. The first event takes place in February 2017 and focuses on health and wellbeing.

Self-guided visits for learning groups

The new Design Museum welcomes schools, colleges and universities for self-guided visits of the opening exhibitions.

CPD for higher education tutors and lecturers

The museum's CPD courses use innovative ideas from the world of design to address themes that matter to educators. The first CPD event will take place on the 7 December and allows you to road-test the new museum.

Student design competition

The 2016/17 academic year is a shorter year for the Design Museum, which reopens on 24 November 2016. This means that the schedule for competitions has changed temporarily. Watch this space for details of the next competition, which will be announced in Spring/ Summer 2017.
