Enterprise Design Challenge
BRIT INSURANCE DESIGNS OF THE YEAR STUDENT COMPETITION 2008
Winner announced!
This years competition attracted over 150 entries and was judged by educational specialists from the Design Museum and Specialist Schools and Academy’s Trust, along with designers Anthony Dickens, Peter Marigold and Clare McKenzie.
100 students were shortlisted and invited to the finale event which took place at the Design Museum on Monday 15 December 2008, where the top design from each category and the over all winner was announced.

Brit Insurance Designs of the Year Student Competition is run jointly by the Design Museum and the Specialist Schools
and Academies Trust.
The competition links to the Design Museum's ground-breaking industry award Brit Insurance Designs of the
Year and accompanying exhibition celebrating the most innovative and memorable new work in design internationally and across seven design categories.
Entries will be featured on the Design Museum website in the new year.
ENTERPRISE DESIGN CHALLENGE PROGRAMME

The Enterprise Design Challenge is an unmissable opportunity for enthusiastic and talented Year 10 D&T and Art & Design students to participate in an exciting design competition which also supports the KS4 Enterprise strand. The Challenge is a fast-paced day at the museum in which students work to a real design brief inspired by our dynamic exhibitions.
